Your portfolio

The customers you earn commission on, the relationship behind each and the rate it pays — and what onboarding a new one does and does not do.

Who this is for: Partner — reading the portfolio needs affiliates.portfolio.read, which every teammate holds; onboarding a hotel needs affiliates.portfolio.manage, which only a partner owner holds. Where: Partner portal → Portfolio

Your portfolio is your book of business: the hotels you earn commission on, the relationship you have with each, and the rate that relationship pays. It is also the filter on everything downstream — revenue from a hotel that is not in your portfolio earns nothing and never reaches a statement.

Read your portfolio#

The four figures across the top are the whole book at a glance.

Hotels portfolio entries — one per hotel you earn on
Organisations how many distinct customers those hotels belong to
Lifetime revenue every settled Nerve invoice attributed to those hotels, all periods
Lifetime commission that revenue at each entry's rate

Both money figures come from Nerve's billing feed, not from anything typed into this screen. Commissions and statements is where a figure is turned into something you can reconcile line by line.

The Portfolio screen — Hotels, Organisations, Lifetime revenue and Lifetime commission across the top, and one hotel listed below with a referred badge and a 12.00% rate

One hotel, referred, at 12%. The roll-ups above it are the billing feed summed — nobody in this portal can type a revenue figure.

Each row below carries the hotel, its relationship and its commission rate.

Relationship What it means
Referred you introduced the customer to Nerve; they run the property themselves
Operated you run the property on the customer's behalf
White-label the customer reaches Nerve through your brand — see White-label branding

The relationship is a commercial label, not a permission. None of the three gives you a login to that hotel or any sight of its guests, folios or rates. What it changes is how the entry reads to you and to whoever reconciles the statement.

Onboard a hotel#

Onboarding records a customer in your book at a rate. Do it when the commercial agreement is signed — commission is only earned from the moment the entry exists, because a statement prices the billing feed against the portfolio as it stands.

  1. Select Onboard hotel.
  2. Paste the Organisation ID of the customer.
  3. Type the Hotel name this entry should list under.
  4. Choose the Relationship.
  5. Type the Commission %.
  6. Select Onboard.

The Onboard a hotel dialog with an organisation ID pasted, a hotel name, the relationship set to Referred and a commission percentage filled in

Four fields. The organisation ID is the one you have to be given — the rest is your side of the agreement.

The entry appears immediately, and the roll-ups above it move as soon as the feed has revenue to attribute to it.

Penting

The organisation ID comes from the customer, not from a lookup here. There is no search — the portal cannot browse Nerve's customers, which is the same boundary that stops another partner browsing yours. Ask the organisation's Owner to read it off Settings → Organisation, where it sits ready to copy.

An entry onboarded here is keyed to the organisation. The hotel name is the label it lists under, not a link to one property — which matches how the money arrives, because Nerve bills the organisation for its subscription rather than billing each property separately.

Peringatan

One entry per organisation. A settled invoice is attributed to every portfolio entry that names its organisation, so a second entry for a customer you have already onboarded is counted twice, and your commission with it. If a customer's arrangement changes, do not add a second row for them.

The rate is fixed at onboarding#

There is no rate editor. The percentage you type into the dialog is what that entry pays, and nothing in the portal changes it afterwards — so read it back before you leave the screen. If an agreed rate genuinely has to change, that is a conversation with Nerve rather than an edit here.

The rate is per entry, so two customers pay whatever each of them agreed. It is applied when a statement is generated, and each statement line snapshots the rate that priced it — which is what lets a statement from six months ago still be checked against the terms of the time.
