The partner portal is where an affiliate runs their side of the business: the hotels you earn on, the commission Nerve's own billing has generated, the payouts against it, the brand your resold customers see, and your team. It is a realm of its own — read the next paragraph before anything else, because it explains most of what is and is not in the menu.

This is a different realm, not a different menu#

The partner portal is not a section of the hotel app that affiliates happen to see. It is a separate realm — its own identity domain, with its own principal, its own permissions and its own data — and an account whose only membership is a partner membership resolves straight into it. There is no property to choose, no hotel workspace behind it, and no dashboard, front desk or folio anywhere in it.

That boundary runs in both directions. A partner principal grants no access to any organisation's guests, rooms or revenue; and a hotel role, however senior, grants no partner access. What the portal is for#

You run a book of business: hotels you referred, operate or resell under your own brand. Nerve bills those hotels for their subscription, and what it actually billed and collected is what your commission is computed from. The portal is where you watch that book, turn a period of it into a statement, pay the statement out, brand the version of Nerve your own customers see, and manage the teammates who do all of the above with you.

The money figures are not typed in by anyone. Revenue reaches your portfolio as a feed of settled Nerve invoices, attributed to the hotels in your portfolio for the month each invoice covers. Who works here#

Two roles, and the split between them is "read the business" versus "act on it".

Generating a statement is gated on affiliates.commission.read, so any teammate can cut one. Only an owner can pay it out.

These roles are fixed — a partner is not an organisation, and there is no role editor here. Your standing as a partner is set by Nerve rather than from inside the portal, and while it is suspended every screen still reads: what stops is the writing. Onboarding, generating a statement, scheduling a payout, saving branding and changing the team are all refused until the suspension is lifted.

How it connects#

To Nerve's billing, in one direction. Settled subscription invoices arrive as billed revenue against the hotels in your portfolio. You read that feed; you cannot write to it, and neither can the hotel. That is what makes a statement reconcilable rather than merely agreed.

To the hotels you refer, not at all. Onboarding a hotel into your portfolio records a commercial relationship. It does not grant you a login there, and nothing you do here appears in their app.

To your own customers, through white-label. The brand, colour and domain you set are resolved publicly by domain, which is how a resold booking site presents itself as yours rather than as Nerve.
