Villa owners

You are running a property worth a great deal per night on a shared calendar and a messaging thread — and what eventually goes wrong is a double booking the guest tells you about.

01

Who this is for

You own and operate one villa or a handful of units. Bookings come mostly direct, sometimes from a listing site. There is no front desk, no night manager and no revenue team — there is you, a housekeeper, and possibly a caretaker. What you need is one place where the calendar is true and a booking page you pay no commission on.

The composite-unit builder on Nerve's Rooms and Units screen, with “Pick a unit” and “Pick a component” dropdowns and an Attach button, above an explanation that composing a villa from its bedrooms makes both shapes share one availability truth.
A villa and its bedrooms are two ways to sell one set of rooms.

What you switch on

And why this module, for this kind of property — not the generic description.

  • Integrations

The booking widget is the point. It goes on the site you already have, searches the same availability everything else reads, and takes a direct booking with no commission on it.

  • Reservations

One calendar a listing site cannot contradict. If your villa sells whole or by the bedroom, composite units keep both honest — selling one takes the other off the market automatically.

  • Front Desk

Light, but real: an arrivals list on the business date, a folio a charge can post to, and a check-out that closes it. Enough that the messaging thread stops being the system of record.

What you can ignore

This section is the point of the page. A product that needs all of itself at every size is not a product that fits you.

  • Point of Sale

Breakfast on a tray is not a point-of-sale outlet. If you open a restaurant, switch it on then.

  • Inventory

You are not running stores, suppliers and purchase orders for a villa — and recipe costing least of all.

  • Revenue

Pace and forecast are for a house with enough rooms to have a pattern. With a handful of units, you already know your season better than a model would.

  • Partner Portal

You own the property, so there is nobody to send an owner statement to. If you also manage villas for other owners, that is a different playbook — and it is one link away.

A booking, end to end

  1. A guest lands on your site, picks two nights in the widget, and books. It is a direct, hotel-collect booking, in the same list as anything that arrived from a listing site.
  2. The night before arrival, the arrivals list for tomorrow's business date has one line on it. The housekeeper marks the villa clean, and the check-in stops asking for an override.
  3. They check out. The folio is settled and invoiced, and it posted to the ledger as it happened rather than at the end of the month.
Nerve's embeddable booking widget on a demo page standing in for a hotel's own website. Headed “Book your stay”, it takes check-in and check-out dates and an optional promo code above a “Search availability” button, footed “Powered by Nerve · commission-free direct booking”.
The no-code path onto the same availability the API serves.

What you already have

Your own website, one or two listing sites, and whoever does your books. The widget embeds, the channels connect, and the trial balance exports as CSV.
